I like to believe that had his father not died the way he had, and had jerrys relationship been better with phil. Id like to believe that they could have easily won 8 championships. Now I'll remind you that in this era of the NBA it would take blood to draw a foul some nights. This was a physically tough era of the NBA. Most players in todays game could not hack it in this time. They'd spend the entire game crying for a foul or picking themselves up off the floor. I grew up near Chicago during prime Jordan. If you were from Illinois and wanted to go se the Bulls play in Milwaukee they would make you buy tickets to the game before and the game after the Bulls came to town. Otherwise they'd have no Bucks fans in the building.

I only say this because despite the fact that Stockton surpassed magic's assist record and i like Stockton more overall, the way that Kareem and Magic combined to form something greater than the sum of their individual selves and win on the highest level is pretty inspiring there's such an obscene amount of skill as well as fan adoration of the point guards in the NBA that putting together a list without hurting someone's feelings is hard lol
